9 years. 14 films (until the weekend at least), $10.914 Billion at the Box Office. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is a JUGGERNAUT. Insanely popular with critics and audiences. A cultural revolution. Other superhero films may have hinted at shared universes before – but Marvel grabbed the bull by the horns and went at it full throttle. And the world LOVES IT.

The New 52! – Part 2

So – here’s the next part of my look back at The New 52! I’ve noticed that in the second volumes the quality really varies. Sometimes it absolutely shines – sometimes it doesn’t. I don’t know how fondly it will all be looked back on in years to come. It’s an event that really divided comic book fans. I still think there was a lot of interesting stuff though. The Fugitive (1993) – A Look Back

Dr Richard Kimble’s wife is murdered. He’s found guilty and sentenced to execution by way of lethal injection. Only he didn’t do it. The real culprit is a “One Armed Man”.

When the prison transport bus meets with an accident that allows Kimble to free himself – he goes on the run. U.S Marshall Sam Gerard is tasked with tracking him down and bringing him to justice. Whilst on the run – Kimble is determined to discover the real murderer and clear his name… all whilst trying to stay one stop ahead of Gerard and his crack team of pursuers.
