So. Got a call from a mate earlier who scored two free tickets to see this. I ain’t usually into horrors – but I thought “Fuck it! Free night out!” – and to be fair I’d heard that this was getting quite a bit of praise.
If there are ever days when I’m feeling a bit miserable – I can ALWAYS rely on this film to cheer me up!
This Space Themes album is famous amongst sci fi fans but remarkably little is known about it. I’ve owned the cassette, the CD and I’ve searched the liner notes countless times to get SOME information on where it came from. Absolutely bloody zip. All I can really gather is that it was manufactured by Tring International PLC and it was licenced from the Long Island Music Company Limited.
It’s a camp and kitsch classic. A CD that you just have to hear to believe!
